Brian's Bio

Brian was born in Pittsburg, PA.  He has two sisters and one brother.  He gave his heart to the Lord on a mission’s trip when he was 14.  During high school his family moved to Florida.  He went to several countries with Teen Missions Intl.  He attended Oral Roberts University.  After two years of schooling, he moved to Los Angeles, CA to work in the entertainment industry, with plans to transfer to UCLA.  He spent a year being a director’s assistant before he felt a call to go back into ministry.  He ignored it, until he was promptly fired from his job.  He went to work at his home church for a while and then was accepted to Morning Star School of Ministry in Charlotte, NC.  Then he attended a Discipleship Training School in Scotland, with outreach to Bolivia.  After that he joined staff in YWAM Australia for a time before returning to L.A. During his time off, in between television projects, he went to St. Croix to help with the Children’s ministry.  While on his third trip to the Island, the new directors challenged him to commit to stay longer.  That was the summer that Anna went to St. Croix.

Anna's Bio

Anna was born in Miami, FL.  She was raised in a Christian home, and has five sisters and three brothers.  She was homeschooled through high school and had her first experience of missions at 17 with YWAM England.  Two years later she attended the Discipleship Training School with YWAM Montana, and went on outreach to Thailand.  Some of her leaders in Montana were asked to be the directors of the base in the Caribbean and they encouraged her to be a part of starting out on the island.  She did, and joined DTS staff in ’05.  Outreach was to Costa Rica and Panama.  During this time she was engaged to Brian, and when the school ended they went back to her home on Marco Island, FL to meet her family.  They were married and lived there for a year before feeling called back to St. Croix to serve as DTS staff.
